  • 31 shows later, hula season is over.  Well, we still have the KCRA News at Noon that is going to feature us.    How spazzzztic is that¿¿¿  We will perform an entire dance…  It is exciting, but also scarier than that green elephant Al_son posted on his site.

It seems I never finished telling about my summer and now it is already October.

I built a patio a square brick at a time. there is no easy way to get the blocks form the store, home and placed.  The only way is to take one at a time off the shelf, put it in the cart. Then one at a time, put them in the truck. Then place them one at a time into the wagon, pull the wagon to the back yard and empty them out one at a time. Then place them where I want them….it took a month.  My plan was I wanted a hammock and I needed a nice place for it. We have a tiny yard. I made the patio, bought 6 giant bags of cedar mulch to place under the hammock. Now I have a nice place to relax. Everyone has been using it so it has been a good investment and the project was worth while.

  • “SHAMPOOING” your carpets? As a professional carpet cleaner, PLEASE tell me you meant STEAM-CLEANING?????

  • That hammock looks way too comfy….I’d love to have one of those……you better watch out though, you may wake up some morning & find a donkey fast asleep in it, or traces of donkey hair left behind….Yikes!

  • Hammock!!!! No fair!

  • Great job on the patio, the hard part of that is getting the surface level beneath the blocks. Very inviting. It is just great that you have had a whole sunner of hula. Fun exercise and socialization all at the same time.

  • Sorry about Nana! I know she was ready, but I know you ……. and you weren’t – it was a beautiful, inspiring relationship – you will allways have her………

  • Why didn’t you tell me you needed help hauling bricks. I coulda gotten it done for you… JACK! Carry those bricks for your mother! See? You shoulda asked. When I am elected president, I will have children carrying bricks for their mothers nation wide!

  • @Aloysius_son - Jack and brittany helped.  only i move three to their one, but still, they helped!!  Even the husband person picked up ad delivered a load of them for me!! but, it is nerve racking with the kids because it is very easy to end up with a smashed finger.

  • VOTE FOR DONKEY_GUY_10 FOR PRESIDENT!
