After surgery and shingles, & before popoki died, we took a fun camping trip!

We brought Popoki home Wed morning.  She went to kitty heaven at 10:00 Thurday night.

Poor Popoki.  She is at the vets getting fluid IV. They don’t know what is wrong with her.  She is pretty sick and I don’t think she’ll make it.

Look what i found growing in my cactus garden….i wonder if i could sell it on Ebay¿¿ I bet Aloysius_son would bid on it!!

I went to the Doctor yesterday to have the drainage tube out.  YEEHAAAAAAAA!! I hate that tube. And it was not fun when he pulled it out, youch. 
I told the Doc he was right, that it would be a couple weeks before i felt better. He looked at me accusingly and said “What did you do?”  LOLOLOL…sheesh. 
I couldn’t lie and say “nothing” but it might have been my better option. I went for a short, slow walk down my street and back home and I was exhausted (maybe 200 yards). He said it has only been a week since the surgery and told me not to take any walks or do anything at all for another week. I guess I hardly considered that much of a walk!!! I am not suppose to lift my left arm higher than my shoulder. He also said I can’t lift anything heavier than 5 pounds until July. No gym, no dancing, no nothin til after 5 weeks (only short walks after next week). He said I had to let things heal properly or it would take longer to heal and activity could cause fluid build up which could lead to infection. I told him I would google that to see if it was true. He said “good” and to report back what I find!!

I’m bored. I put two years worth of photos into albums, uploaded and ordered prints from the past 6 months, made Tude’s annual photo calender for 2010…..I guess it will be early this year instead of late!! She might appreciate that.

I can find things to do while sitting around but it is just so hard to sit still when I want to MOVE. My legs are super restless. I suppose even if i tried to do anything i’d get tired after five minutes anyway. The computer gets boring but at least mom was on today and we chatted a bit.

The flowers in my yard are pretty. The BS is making eveything grow. My veggie garden is really growing fast too! I guess I can sit in the yard and watch the gardens grow. But then I spot a weed or two…..they must be pulled.

ok, my left arm is going numb from typing so now I have to get off the computer and find some other nothing to do.

 my left implant sprung a leak so i headed to jiffy boob last thursday to have it replaced. i don’t remember feeling this sick last time. i was doing ok til Sunday when i got a headache, fever and upset tummy.  i still feel icky today.
Mom, dad and Tude sent these gorgeous flowers on Saturday.  i’m glad i thought to take the picture then.

what did you get for mothers day?
