I was just getting ready to give this tent away to a friend with a 3 year old. Guess which child said I cannot give away her ladybug tent!!! Guess which child decided she HAD to have her own tent while camping? Her 15 year old 5’7″ body barely fit in there.
She HAD to have her Lady Bug tent.
Michele was happy ’cause Brittany was not in her tent bugging her! I was happy because she was not in my tent bugging me. Jeff thought the whole thing was rediculous.
Brittany is the one who found the Banana slug, picked it up and ran sqealing with excitement to give it to her brother.
Brittany had the squirrel run up her leg
Brittany got sunburned on the back of her legs because she put sunscreen every where but there.
Brittany had to wear a miniskirt hiking cause her shorts hurt her sunburned legs.
Good thing she packed that skirt….for camping….
Brittany had to go on ALL the rides at the Boardwalk…even the ones that cause bruising, whiplash and concussions.
Brittany is FUN!!!

best memory…..a squirrel ran up Brittany’s leg, she screamed, it ran down then ran towards Michele. Michele screamed and did some sort of dance that was definitely not hula, the squirrel dodged her maniac dance and proceeded on like nothing happened….
this is the squirrel
We were camping at Henry Cowell Redwoods SP
dingdongdingbat told…or more like DEMANDED, I buy her something from the park gift shop…so I did. I hope she likes it….*shglaf*

Nana
I headed to my adopted Nana’s yesterday 9:30 a.m. When I got there, apparently it was the day she decided to die. She was ready. She wanted to call all her family to say good bye. She had Charlotte call all the family members one by one on the phone and everyone said their good-byes. We sat with her, telling her it was ok to let go. So she said “I am ready, now what do I do.” Her live-in aide told her to close her eyes and go to sleep. Nana says, “What if I wake up again?” Anyway, this went on for hours and hours. We decided it could even go on for days. So we sat waiting for Nana to die and Nana didn’t die. She looks ready to go any minute or hour or day or week or…. She is 91.
We did some chores around the house. I said good-bye to her at 3:00 and she said “I am sorry things didn’t work out.” Only Nana would apologize for not dying when she said she was going to die. She told her grandson she is going to be embarrassed if she does not die after telling everyone good-bye.
